The "Index" icon , located in the upper right area of the Construction Estimate screen, provides a link to an Index search window. An example of this window is shown below. On this pop-up window, you can enter a keyword and click the GO button (or press Enter on your keyboard) to retrieve links to all of the sections of cost data that contain the keyword you entered. After clicking on a result, the data displayed on the main window will update to show you the desired section of data.
In the image below, the user has typed the word "Metal".
After the user has typed the word "Metal" and clicked GO, the window is populated with the search results. The results are links to all of the sections of data that contain the keyword "Metal" in the header. If you click on one of these links, you will be directed back to the Construction Estimate screen, and the section of data that you have clicked on will now display in the data display area of the Construction Estimate screen.
