Getting Started
The following work flow is intended for those users who have experience using Means Data and are comfortable with using a web application.
For a more detailed step by step description, please refer to the Typical Work Session topic in the Tutorial section of this Help File.
Sign-On to view a list of your estimates or create a new estimate.
Create a new estimate or edit an existing one by choosing it from your list.
Complete the necessary fields:
Data Type
Cost Book
Labor Type
Data Release
Location
Search for the desired line item using one of the following methods:
Select the line item by clicking on it and adding it to the Current Estimate.
Enter the quantity (per unit of measure "UOM") for the cost line.
Save, Print, Export, or generate a report based on the cost lines.
