Sorting Estimates

You can sort the estimates in a folder by column header in ascending or descending order. The sort is for all of the estimates within the estimates list or search list in that folder that you perform the sort. Your estimate list can be sorted by the following columns: Type, ID, Name, Current Value, Created By, and Last Update.

  1. To sort your folder in ascending order, click on the column header that you would like to sort in ascending order. If your estimate list is sorted in ascending order the icon displays next to the column header that you sorted. For example if you sorted the ID column by ascending order, the following displays on the grid title line: .

  2. To sort your folder in descending order, click the same column header again. If your estimate list is sorted in descending order the icon displays next to the column header that you sorted. For example if you sorted the ID column by descending order, the following displays on the grid title line: .

The default sort for your screen is by Last Update. This sort provides you with a view of your latest estimates first in your estimate list.

If you perform a sort on the first screen of your estimates, the sort continues to the next screen of your sort.  If you are on the second page of a sort and decide to sort your list from that page, the estimate list is sorted and the first screen of the sort displays for your use.
